Prior to teaching, Katina directed youth programs for the U.S. Department of Defense across military bases, embassies, and clubs in Italy, Japan, Germany, and Turkey—leading summer initiatives for military families.
Having experienced foster care as a child, Katina earned a certificate from USD Law School’s Special Education Law Advocacy Series to ensure every student receives the exact services, dignity, and opportunities they deserve.
